In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Shaykh Abdallah Adhami, a leading Muslim scholar in the West, recently published a calm, reflective essay on apostasy laws in Islam. The article touches on several issues that any Muslim would do well to reflect upon. Ma sha’ Allah, I think as Muslims we really need to raise the level of our discourse to what the shaykh so eloquently demonstrates.

If you learn nothing else, notice the beautiful character that the two shaykhs exhibit towards each other, subhan Allah!

I pray that God accepts all of our fasting, praying, and other good actions in this blessed month; that He overlooks our faults; and that He increases us and makes this month a proof for us and not against us.
